Consider/Approve Request from Lake Road Elementary School PTO to Install a Digital Sign |

Background Information: The Lake Road Elementary School PTO requests permission to install a digital sign in front of Lake Road School. The School Support Organization has been working with Mr. Buckelew and Mr. Graham concerning the location and installation. If system maintenance personnel are needed to install the sign, we can get the sign installed; however, the installation may not be immediate as other projects are in process. The Tennessee Internal School Uniform Accounting Policy Manual provides, “The local board must approve the construction or installation of permanent fixtures.” Staff Recommendation: As the request is in compliance with rules, regulations, and policy, I recommend approval of the request from the Lake Road Elementary School PTO. |
